TooFaced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette Review/First Impressions

The TooFaced Peanut Butter and Jelly palette is part of the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Collection. This pallete is an Ulta exclusive and became available online the 28th of February 2016 and is available in store the 13th of March 2016. If you are a platinum member, this pallete became available the Monday of the week of it's launch.

This collection is best known for the shadows themselves being made out of cocoa powder. I would say these shadows do have a slight peanut butter cup smell though they do not contain any peanut products or poweder in them. This product retails for $36 USD for nine shades in total with three being large and then six smaller ones.

The shades themselves are for the most part easy to apply and nicely pigmented. The only shade I was disappointed to see that it was a little hard to work with was the shade 'jelly'. You do have to apply this shade a few times before it shows it's true vibrant purple self. But the rest do apply well and last a good while like many TooFaced shadows in the chocolate bar range. My favorites would have to be Peanut Brittle and Jammin'.

This is a true warm toned palette, if you do not like warm tone shadows I would suggest trying a differnt pallete with more neutral shades such as the original Chocolate Bar pallete. But if you like all types of undertones then you'll love this pallete and it's packaging. This is a very good pallete to add to your collection if not for the shades then for the novelty of it.
