Lancome Juicy Shaker Review/Collection

The Lancome Juicy Shaker is a pigment infused bi-phased lip oil. Much like their oil based makeup remover, the product has to be mixed or shaken to use. The juicy shaker is the first bi-phased lip product that was innovated by Lisa Eldridge who is a Youtuber/ makeup artist and who is also the new creative director of makeup for Lancome. The Juicy shaker was initially created with the idea to mix a nourishing oil with the classic juicy tube gloss from Lancome.

There are 20 shades in the juicy shaker collection with each having it's own distinct smell and color. The shakers offer 4 types of nourishing oils including; peach kernel oil, sweet almond oil, cranberry oil, and muscat rose oil. The shades range from berry tones, to reds, a mint blue, to more trendy brown nudes, and some pinks/corals.

The product itself includes an oil and a pigment that must be mixed to be used properly. When the product is shaken, the color is distributed onto a cushion applicator for quick and easy application. The juicy shaker is sold at Ulta, Sephora, and on Lancome's own website for $21 each. I would also like to note that the shakers are renamed at Sephora for some reason, they are the same shades but just have a different name. If you read the description of each shaker then you'll find the right shade.

On a personal note, the moment I tried these lip products I fell in love and had to buy 4 more shades. These are in no way meant to be opaque but give off enough color and are very buildable. I would recommend trying out the darker shades first so that you can get a good idea of how they are before purchasing more and get a bit more for your buck. I feel like there is a good range of shades for different types of people.

The juicy shaker is a fast and easy alternative to a more time consuming liquid lipstick or lipstick. It is great for the summer time when it's hot and you don't want to spend more time than you need reapplying a precise crisp line. Each shaker has it's own distinct color and smell but my favorites are "Berry in Love" ( which I think is the best smelling one), "Mangoes Wild", and "Piece of Cake".

I would definitely recommend trying this product because of it's novelty and also because of it's innovation. It is truly unlike any lip product I have ever tried. It gives off color, it's nourishing, and it is fun to use. I hope you can try this product and love it as much as I do!
