Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette

This palette belongs to the first ever collaboration Urban Decay has done with any celebrity or influencer. The collection consists of lipliners, lipsticks, a blush palete, browbox, and a limited edition eyeshadow palette. This particular palette was designed by Gwen for Gwen, as shades or products she could personally use. There are a total of 15 shades; 12 are new and 3 are part of the permanent collection. The palette retails for $58 which is more than a UB Naked palette but a little less than an UB Vice palette.

The palette consists of a good range of neutrals and a few jewel tones as the statement pop of color. Most of the shades were not only handpicked by Gwen but also named by her as well. But to be honest, when this palette first came out around the holidays I had no real interest in it, not only did the shades look plain but I am not a real big fan of Gwen. But after getting this palette as a Christmas present, I've changed my opinion on it.

The palette is a great everyday eyeshadow palette with excellent matte transition shades and good shimmery shades as well as pops of color. My favorite shades to use are "Anaheim", "Punk", "Stark", and "Zone" as transition shades. The Shades "Steady" and "Baby" are great all over shades. "Blonde", "Bathwater", and "Skimp" are great browbone highlight shades. You also get darker inner corner shades to deepen a look. This palette is a great versatile palette that can be used to create a range of looks.

Overall I would say this palette is great. The pigmentation is on point and the shade selection is genius. If you are someone looking for a great starter/beginner pallete or if you love collecting makeup or Gwen Stefani I would invest in this palette. This is just a great all around palette.
