The TooFaced Chocolate Bar palette is the original scented palette from the brand. The was the first in a now line of innovative quality scented eyeshadow palettes from Toofaced. The OG Chocolate Bar palette launched in Spring 2014 and was the first of it's kind from a well known high street brand. The palette consists of 16 cocoa infused shades that retails for $49. The palette really does smell like chocolate. If you get a chance to use it in person, when the powder from the shadows kicks up you can taste the cocoa in the shadows.
The 16 shades in the palette consists of mattes, shimmers, and frost finishes. This is truly a great basic or essential palette that would be a great starter palette. The shades are not too warm or cool or neutral. There is a good mix of all these undertones that work well together to create many versatile looks. The pigmentation and application is great like all TooFaced products.
My favorite transition shades include; "Salted Caramel", "Semi-Sweet", "Milk Chocolate", "Cherry Cordial" and "Triple Fudge". The best all over lid shades are; "Creme Brulee", "Hazelnut", and "Marzipan". The shade "Champagne Truffle" is the most beautiful highlight color, it is a ice pale pink color and frost finish.
I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone who just wants one nice quality palette for everyday use and for those like me who like to collect. But this palette is just phenomenal, simple, unique, and to the point. I hope you can get your hands of this palette as well.
