The highly sought after Sweet Peaches palette is the fifth installment of scented eyeshadow palettes from TooFaced. The palette had much difficulty being launched mid March and has come in and out of stock at it's retailers nationwide. I myself tried to buy this palette when it first launched and waited with the thousands of other women at 2am ( 12am in the west coast and 3am in the east) and we would wait 7 more hours after the website constantly crashed. I got a glimmer of hope at about 5am but my card kept being declined, I eventually bought the palette a few days later when TooFaced had the palette back in stock for a few hours.
This palette is absolutely beautiful and does smell very sweet like peach gummy candy ( more along the lines of the Trolli peach gummy rings). The smell of this palette was a huge factor in buying this product not only for the novelty of it but also because it is unique just like the other scented palettes in the TooFaced collection. The product retails for $49 just like the other larger scented palettes by Toofaced. The palette contains 18 equally sized eyeshadow pans. Unlike the chocolate bar collection which has two bigger highlighting shades.
The palette has a great selection of transition, all over lid, and highlighting shades. There is really a hue of peach in running through every color. This palette is also unique in that out of all the warmer undertoned eyeshadows out there this one is not too orange or red. So if you do not like true warm palettes like the peanut butter palette then this would be a great alternative palette to try because of it's versatility. If you just love makeup and will are always looking for something new then this will also be a great palette for you. There is a nice mixture of shimmer and matte shades as well as frosted shades.
The application of the shades are what to be expected of all TooFaced products which is great pigmentation and blending ability. My favorite shades to use on a daily basis are "White Peach", "Nectar", "Peaches n' Cream", "Luscious", "Georgia", "Puree", "Summer Yum", "Charmed, I'm Sure", and "Peach Pit". I cannot say more good things about this palette, I own many palettes but this one is unique not only in the smell but the tone of the shades. I hope you can get your hands on this palette as well.
